Visitors

It is generally desirable that a patient in hospital should not be visited by more than two people at a time. Visits by small children may contribute a particular stress, and patients are reminded of the danger of exposing children to infection, which may be present in any hospital. At all times visitors should check with a member of the nursing staff prior to entering the wards.

There is no smoking on the premises at the Hospital and mobile telephones are to be turned off. There have been instances where mobile telephone signals have interfered with delicate medical equipment posing a danger to patients.

The Hospital Kiosk is available to the public for the purchase of snacks and daily papers. It does not provide take away meals.

Parking is restricted around the Hospital site. All day parking is available at the end of Vermont street in the Martin Park car-park. All other streets are limited to two hours or less.
