Public Dental Services

The Dental Clinic provides basic emergency, general and denture services.

Where there is insufficient capacity at our dental clinic, people may be referred to a private dentist or prosthetist.

Specialist dental care is provided at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.


Who is eligible to see the WRHS Dental Clinic?

Concession card holders and their dependants.

School age children from year 9 upwards, who's parents have a Pensioner Concession Card or Health Care Card.


WRHS Dental Clinic

The charge will depend on the type and amount of treatment you need, with a minimum of $20 for a course of care:

  • Emergency visit - $22.50
  • General Care - for a full course of treatment (checkup, fillings, clean). The cost will be a minimum or $22.50, up to a maximum of $90.
  • Dentures - the charge is dependent on the type of denture with the maximum charge for a full upper and lower acrylic denture of $101.
  • Specialist Care - the charge will depend on the treatment you receive. This will be discussed with you prior to commencing treatment.
  • Exemptions for charges may be available for people with special needs. This should be discussed with the dental clinic prior to care commencing.

Emergency Care

If you are in pain you should contact your local community dental clinic. You will be assessed within the next 24 hours.


Location

The WRHS Dental Clinic is located in Vermont Street, Wodonga, just prior to the entry to Martin Park Football Oval.

The clinic is open Monday to Friday except public holidays.
