I have recently moved to the area and am pregnant. What options do I have for maternity care?

There are two options available to you:

• You can choose a General Practitioner with a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology or you can access the Midwife Care Program (MCP). For more details please see the Obstetrics section of this Web site.
• There are certain criteria to meet to be eligible for the MCP including a medical assessment.
