Can my partner be present with me for a Caesarean Section?

With the permission of your Obstetrician, your partner or support person may be allowed to stay with you throughout the operation.

A Midwife will also be in attendance for the delivery phase. Where a general anaesthetic is required, a support person is not permitted in the Operating Suite.
